Cabinet Benefits

An evolution in aquarium stands. Treated like a second thought, aquarium stand design has not kept pace with today’s more modern interior demands. Until Now… there are several manufacturers that offer stylish clean-lined furniture quality aquarium stands tastefully designed to accent traditional and contemporary interiors alike. Cross-roads of form function and fashion. An acrylic aquarium and a distinct aquarium stand elegantly depicts the style and sophistication that creates a focal point within a home or office.

Characteristics for a stylish, well-made Aquarium Stand

  • Architecturally matched veneers--from side to side and from base to canopy.
  • Custom built to suit each aquarium to you and your space. Mass production just doesn't come close.
  • Ability for you to have your choice of wood species such as maple, oak, anigre, bamboo, lacewood, makore, ebony, wenge and zebrawood.
  • Cabinets are finished inside & out with a catalyzed lacquer for superior moisture resistance.
  • Have open backs to allow for improved ventilation or completely finished for 360˚ viewing
  • Canopy doors include a stainless steel piano hinge with stainless steel screws and a European stainless steel pull.
  • Base door is concealed using Blum® European self closing hinges as an example and accented with a stainless steel knob.
  • Solid hardwood structural legs with heavy-duty levelers to transfer aquarium weight directly to the floor.
  • Square corners are solid wood in front and either solid wood or 1/8" thick veneer in back.
  • The top, bottom and open back of the base are made of veneer-core maple plywood.
  • Matched veneer panels are laid up on ultralite MDF for a superior combination of weight management (think lighter weight canopy), structural stability and finish quality.
